Poor sportsmanship

I was playing online this afternoon when I played a guy who had Tennessee. I was playing with Texas Tech. Well, in the first inning I couldn't control a pitch, my lag was worse than normal. Anyways, he scored 4 runs in the first. He then added 3 more in the 2nd. Most might would give up at this point. But I play on. I score a run in the 3rd, with no one out. Basically because he was fooling around and practically let me get a triple. Then he made the mistake again and let another on base. Then I sac fly another run to make it 7-2 in the bottom of the 3rd with one out. I then put two on and hit a 3 run homerun. Now the score is 7-5. He starts to get a little serious, pitching away from me...All the way to bottom of the 5th down two, I get a single, but he throws it from center field to first, so I take the extra base to 2nd. Then I ground out but move the runner to 3rd. Then a sac fly scores the runner and I'm down 7-6 with two outs. I hit a single into center. Steal 2nd. Then hit a high chopper down the 3rd base line and the runner is safe and now I have runners at the corners with two outs, down by 1. Full count, I slap a doube the opposite way down the first base line to tie the game. We goto the 6th. With the bases loaded and two outs, he hits a helluva shot into the right center gap to score two runs and take a 9-7 lead going to the bottom of the 6th. I lead off with a base hit. Then move the runner to second off a grounder, one out. I then steal 3rd again, to have a runner at 3rd with one out. I pop up towards 1st base for the second out. Then slap a single into left field to score the run. Two outs, runner on first, down 1. My hands are sweaty, I'm actually tired of playing. 2-2 count, I get ahold of a fastball and turn on it...but it falls short and in his glove for the final out. Great game!!! As the game goes to the chat box, I say Gg, and he follows with LOSER and disconnects.

Man, after such a great game and so many runs scored and that 7 run comeback I pulled off...I get LOSER as my parting shot from my opponent. Geez.

Re: Poor sportsmanship

I never play random games on live anymore, just too many idiots out there. I only play with friends, when I do get a chance to play.

My gamertag is ArcadEd, if anyone here wants to add me to their list. Just note you are from OS when you send the invite.

Oh, there is a block feature? Can you block guys from playing them in the optimatch? That would be way sweet.

Related to this...how does a player earn "rep"? Most guys I've seen have zero reputation, or 1/2 a star. Where does it come from?

That's pretty bad, but not as bad as some guys I've played against. Last year it happened a few times where i would write 'Gg' and get '**** you' in response. Generally I'd just laugh and challange them again.
