Yeah it's pretty damn gay.

I'm gonna go back to what I did last year. Play like a scrub in the first inning and just like bunt the first 3 ABs so they dont quit.

I had it happen three times in 5 games last night after I finally figured how how to use L&F to hit on this game... and I'm talking 3 or 4 run leads in the first inning. It really sucks because my record is like 4-8 or something. AND maybe without the quitters I would have had three more wins to my WIN total.

What's even worse is that the quitters game me bad feedback after they quit. I throw ONLY STRIKES unless I really mess up with the BAD TEAMS/ PITCHERS that I use... and they usually all throw JUNK pitches which I lay-off of and TAKE.

I guess taking WALKS pisses them off and then when they finally do throw anything in the zone I usually drive to the outfield.

I wish they would've done away with the QUITS in the 1st inning... I mean, if LAG is that bad they should have the option for a friendly quit BUT not for someone to just QUIT after they fall behind in the 1st inning.

Re: People still quit in the 1st inning

I've always thought they should make it so if you're losing and you quit you get a loss, period, but a friendly quit option is a better idea.

I hate people who quit on-line because it's just so pathetic. I mean I play games on line to try and have fun and exciting games. I DONT play to try and get the highest ranking. I mean sure, everyone wants to win but I'd rather play ten games against people w/whom I am evenly matched and go 5-5 than play 10 games where I blow out the other person.

People who play to get the highest rank by any means are pathetic. It's not like they get anything - no one knows who they really are and no one would care even if they did. There's no prizes awarded. If it impresses your friends, they're sad too (this is the doing anything to win mentality I'm talking about). So really, what's the point of being a punk and irritating people who are just trying to have fun just so you don't cry about losing. IMO it's probobly a way for people to justify how much they play video games, i.e. "Sure I play NCAA six hours a day, but I'm ranked number eight"
