I just started playing this game again too, it rocks! I can't get roster updates anymore because the action replay wont work with my computer, but I do have an awesome fantasy draft that I started with one of my friends a while back that I play now. We just drafted some random players that we had no idea who they were(we knew some but not a lot), and I'm 25-25 with them. It's definitely a fun game.

With all the mods this game has, it makes it better than any other Baseball out to date. Oh how I wish EA makes another Baseball game.

I agree, I am in the middle of the 2008 season with the Los Angeles Dodgers
I never did get into downloading new roster, because I enjoyed the challange of putting together a new roster and drafting new talent.
I hope that EA will be able to make a new game.
but I have not found another baseball game that plays like this one.

Man, I cant believe people are still playing 2005. MLB 08 and MLB 2k8 are both really good games. I think if they combined them in to one game, they would have the perfect game. I also think EA should make another baseball game. They could use fake customizable rosters/logos and stuff like that, or they could even use something stupid like the Independent baseball leagues. Maybe they could make an official World Baseball Classic game with all the teams and more.

PS: Does anyone know where I can download the new rosters on the internet with my PS3 and not have to download any special computer software or stuff like that?????

In 2k8 I can't get over how my outfielders just let the ball drop without even making an attempt to catch it while standing right under it. I don't own the show anymore, I played a lot when I first got it then just never played it enough to keep it(ps2 version). But this game, for me, provides a very fun experience and I don't get tired of it.

yeah, that outfielder thing has happened to me a couple of times, you just have to be careful, I also think MLB 2k should get superstar mode too.

2K8 is not a good game. I have played a total of about 6-7 games and just put it down and never touched it again. MVP on the other hand is so much fun. Who would have thought the majority would prefer a four old game over these next gen games.

I think MLB 2k8 is a pretty solid game. To be honest, It would be extremely hard for me to go back and play MVP because it doesnt feel realistic.

Doesn't feel realistic? 2K8 is realistic? Your crazy. The ball physics alon in MVP are 100 times more realistic thank 2k8, also the batting stances and pitching motion are dead on four years ago than they are now.
