Moved from All-Star to MVP level

First couple of games on MVP level, both teams were still hitting too many dingers. I've toned the power down to -50 for CPU and Human. Only one HR in two games.

I'm struggling in the field. It seems the human infielders are giving a "push" in the right direction on the lower levels that doesn't happen on MVP. I'll have to adjust but I'm giving up 18-20 hits per game over about five games.

On the positive side, game has more gap shots and doubles. If I can calm down the groundball singles, I'll have my chances at winning some of these.

Just put the fielding on manual and you will get back that "push". You can still leave the overall difficulty level on MVP even though you put the fielding on manual.

Re: Moved from All-Star to MVP level

I have fielding on manual. It must be natural progression of level difficulty that fielding is more challenging. Same for pitching, a little harder to paint the corners. That's contributing to getting knocked around a little bit also.

Dowie, I'm tweaking these sliders as I go so there's not a reliable set that I could post yet. My All-Star sliders evolved over the last two seasons and I used those as a base for MVP level.

I stand corrected from earlier reply. The setting was on MVP fielding. It's a setting that appears only "in game". I played one game on manual and it was improved. I only gave up 11 hits, most by Kip Wells in the first inning, just like real life.

Hopefully it will save this option for my dynasty.

Thank you for the tip.
