Anyone playing MVP on a laptop?

Thinking of moving from an old, loud desktop to a laptop...but it has to support MVP of course! Anyone running on a laptop and if so, what do you recommend for specs...especially graphics card?

Thanks!

Moderator - please do not move to another forum...am looking for MVP player feedback specifically.

You are kinda SOL when it comes to the graphics on a laptop unless you are willing to shell out the extra cash, but It should run pretty smoothly with a gig of ram. I used to run it on an acer 5500.... pretty standard laptop and it ran ok. How much you looking to spend?

Somewhere between 1500-2000 probably. I know it all comes down to vid card and RAM. I am sticking with Win XP too...Vista is too new and I hear people have issues getting games to run.

Re: Anyone playing MVP on a laptop?

Give it up already capa and get the real deal....a $600 pc they call a PS3 and The Show!

....anyway to really answer your question, I've run MVP'05 on my Dell Inspiron 8500 quite nicely a couple of years ago. It is a 2.0 Ghz that had 512 or RAM. I upgraded to 1GB of RAM, but I'm not sure if I played on the 512 or the 1GB.

Oh...I've got that going too! As well as 2K7 now and then (waiting for PS3 patch).

Can't do without my classic teams in MVP...modded heaven...

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16834117504 Something along these specs will be great. But really if you are wanting to spend that amount on a laptop maybe you should google alienware laptops.
