new all star sliders in the works-6.0

these need to be played using the 6-4 camera view, as it is far more difficult to hit the corners thus more offense for the cpu. It took me about 10 games to get used to it and thought at first this is too hard, but you will adjust and it's worth it to see the cpu score. I will leave little notes on what I think still needs to be tested. So this is a work in progress.
meter -50
speed 0
ball rate 8
u fat 10
c fat 20
u control -50
c control -21
bp r 50
bp g -40
u bat contact 0
c bat contact 0
u bat power 0
c bat power 0
u bunt 50

u foul 50

c swing -28
u of spd -17
c of spd -17
u if spd -15
c if spd -15
u thr spd -10
c thr spd -10
u thr acc 0
c thr acc 0
u error 50
c error 50
u dive -25
c catch -5
u b.r. spd -2
c b.r. spd -2
u run agg 10
c run agg 6
u stl spd 2
c stl spd -7
u stl dly -7
c stl dly 5
c stl rate 35
Still testing cpu batting, cpu swing freq,if/of spd's,both catching sliders, cpu run aggression

Dowie, do you turn vibration off on pitching? I use it and I find hitting the corners too easy. I'm convinced that if you hit the black part of the plate and the right section of your meter, the cpu is programmed to miss, take as a strike or hit weakly. I'm going to try and play with this off. After all, pitchers in real life don't have this feature to be precise, only their eyes and coordination. Perhaps 6-4 view isn't needed if this is off. The reason I like center view when pitching is that it helps my hitting technique from that angle as well.

yes vibration is off, and the 6-4 view DOESN'T CHANGE YOUR VIEW WHEN HITTING, ONLY PITCHING. Since it is much harder to see the strike zone with this view it's harder to hit the cornes and you do hit the majority of the plate and with the cpu at 0/0 the natural attributes of the hitters come into play, and you will still get outs even though they hit the ball. ok, I played 6-4 with Vib..off. I faced the Angels, a good team. The CPU beat me both games. 5-2 and 4-0. The 6-4 was fun. The angle seems awkward as its hard to tell where the corners of the plate are. It's not centered so the corners are tough to judge. The CPU hit great! A nice variety of hits. One homer, 2 doubles in each game, 10 hits. (I'm using -24 as swing frequency and 10 for CPU contact) I will make cpu contact 0 as I may need to even things out with the learning curve. My only complaints about this view is 1. plate seems too far away 2. It's an angle view. It would be nice to have a center view for the pitcher.

Nevertheless, the CPU hit better than I ever experienced and the game felt like a real MLB game and not arcade like. You have to pitch like a major leaguer. When my pitcher was fatigued I was really shaking because missing at this level can really hurt. Anyway, I feel the answer in getting the cpu to be competative maybe in the pitching view and sliders and not the hitting sliders. I can't wait to play tomorrow.

My thoughts exactly. That view thanks to Carew is the most realistic out there, and you really have to concentrate to hit the corners instead of the 4 center view where you can tell automatically. For a total sim experience instead of arcade then this view is IT! I'll keep you guys all informed on mvp level sliders, just give me a couple days to test some areas out. I'll keep updating and I love everyone's feedback.Dowie
One last thing,on the 6-4 view you really have to manage your starting pitcher, and bullpen. Since it gets harder to have control once fatigue kicks in you'll find yourself going to the bullpen quicker thus your innings pitched stat is far more realistic.

I tried 6-4 with strikezone on and vibration on for two innings and shut the cpu down pretty easy, so pitchings aids although they serve a purpose are the real culprits. With these aids turned off, 6-4 becomes very realistic. Carew has these aids turned on with his original slider set. I don't know if he's adjusted to your slider recommendations. It would be nice to get his experience and thoughts on this....Carew? where are you?

I really think that I am onto a "radically " different type set of sliders, but I need to play about 15 games or so to do some tweaking. I really like them, but a few of the sliders need to be tested in various situations.Dowie These are for all star by the way.
