Sliders reversed?

I had been working on tweaking Heelfan's Pro sliders and I was using a post that was made a while back listing what each sliders does (i.e. + makes contact easier, - makes it harder). Well, I am wondering if some of these are backwards. I have been playing with CPU and Human Contact/Power at 0 and 0. I was just experimenting and I put CPU contact at 15 and power at -15 and I found they strike out much more often. I had been getting around 4-5 k's a game and now I can get 7-10. Their power has also increased with light hitting IF going yard with regularity. I put human contact at -15 and human power at 15. I am striking out much less, but I haven't even come close to hitting a ball out of the yard. I am also wondering if the swing frequency slider is backwards. I had it at -35. I put it at -50 and the CPU was swinging at almost every pitch. So I put it at +50 and they were swinging less. Has anyone else experienced this, did I misunderstand that post explaining the sliders, or is this just all a coincidence?

Can you please post or direct me to Heelfan's Pro sliders? Thanks

Thanks. Does this help make the game a little bit easier or is it much more challenging on PRO?

Please post yours. Does yours make it much easier to get hits and strike out the CPU on PRO?

Thanks

Here are the sliders I am using. I actually did quite a bit of tweaking and have now played about 10 games using these. I like the variety of games I get with these. I had a Smoltz/Beckett duel that was 2-1, I had a Steve Trachsel/Horacio Ramirez game that I won 7-3, I had a Randy Johnson/Curt Schilling matchup that the Yankees beat me 10-7 and then I did the same matchup and they beat me 4-1. I believe that your personal playing style is the most important factor in how sliders should be tuned, but these are working for me so I'll post them. Unless I list it here, it is on default.

Level: Pro
Pitch Cursor, Hot Zones, Vibration, Strike Zone: Off
Hitter's Eye: On
Fielding: Assisted (this is the one where the CPU fields for me, but I make the throws)

Pitch Meter -50
Pitch Speed 10
CPU Ball Rate 50
User Pitcher Fatigue 45 (The logic here is it is way to easy to throw strikes. With this set at 45 your pitcher tires abount a % per pitch thrown if you go all the way to the red. This means that as the game progresses you can't throw everything in the strike zone or you will get hit.)
CPU Pitcher Fatigue 5
User Pitch Control -50
CPU Pitch Control -50
User Bunting Ability 20
CPU Bunting Ability 20
User Foul Ball Freq. 50
CPU Foul Ball Freq. 50
CPU Swing Freq. -10 (I went with this because it gets the CPU to swing at more pitches out of the zone. I have also had more K's looking because I pitch out of the zone so much it's almost like they aren't looking for it. I have had games with 12 k's, and games with 2/3 k's.)
User OF Speed -8
CPU OF Speed -8
User IF Speed -27
CPU IF Speed -27
User Throw Speed -3
CPU Throw Speed -3
User Throw Acc. -5
CPU Throw Acc. -5
User Catch Error 15
CPU Catch Error 15
User Baserunner Spd 10
CPU Baserunner Spd 10
User Runner Agg. 5
CPU Runner Agg. 5
User Runner Stl. Spd 2
CPU Runner Stl. Spd 2
CPU Steal Rate 10

Hope those work as well for you as they have for me. Let me know if there are any questions.

Do these sliders give you that satisfaction of gameplay that isn't in between ROOKIE and PRO on this game? You know with Rookie it's way too easy, but with Pro it gets kind of hard to hit and pitch.

I find them realistic for me. When I play against Pedro Martinez for example, I usually have to work to score. I play against an average pitcher, and I can hit him pretty good. Same for the computer against me. I guess to answer your question, yes. I don't lose all my games, but I don't win them all either.

I tried your revised sliders last night and I had a much more enjoyable experience than the original ones posted. Thanks for posting.
