What sliders? I never used sliders until about a year ago, and also always used the view behind the pitcher to hit. Since playing 2k7, it got me hooked on hitting looking at the pitcher. It's view 4, plus 13 on the pitch speed. I don't give pitchers 2-seam fastballs since this game portrays a 2 seamer as a screwball. I use 11-5 break for curves and sliders and 12-6 on change ups. I try to stay uniform for now. Once I get a roster done I will then tweak minor things. I also use 70 for a minimum on break for curves, 55 for almost all sliders, and 40 for changes.

Oakland done, onto Texas. Also added Matt Wieters, and David Price as a top 100 prospects to Baltimore and Tampa.

I fairly recently posted sliders for both PC and XBox, but I haven't heard any feedback on them.

yes you did, and i need to give them a run...they're on my desktop and i need to put them in. i haven't played this game in weeks and need to get back into it...hockey and basketball playoffs, as well as getting into Assassin's Creed have occupied my time.

Simming about 30 or so seasons and the usual outcomes are very good, Usual division winners are LA, CHC, PHI or NYM. In the Al its NYY, BOS sometimes TB and TOR (2 or 3 times). AL Central MIN and DET, with the occasional CLE and CHW hanging in to the end.

Sea done, on to the last team. After that I need to go back through and make a few players that were called up during the year. I hope to be done by early next week.

If you're going to be creating, I'd make a save every step of the way. In-game editing can get glitchy.

Thanks for the heads up, I have been editing this same roster since 05 and never had any problems, that being said I always have multiple back ups on memory cards. I don't like to create new players, just overwrite the minor league guys already in the game. Only time I do is if I have to, meaning no player matches the height and weight that I need.
