xbox only, just so you guys know the reason I stated a franchise that will not freeze is because I used the converted rosters from the pc game like most of you did. However 32 games into a franchise it froze, no matter what I did I could not get past that game. So I tried another one 17 games in the same thing. I came to the conclusion that the game can't handle all the edits made. It's fine for exhibition but not a dynasty. That's what made me get back to my rosters. I tried to play 2k9 (for about 2 hours) weak, catroony, and so on. I really liked 2k7, graphically awesome, game play good, hitting physics horrible. Numerous times I would replay the ball going through my bat, along with hitting way too many homers on inside pitches to the opposite field. So in a nutshell the only two baseball game that I think are solid is MVP 05 and Baseball Stars (the classic). CLE done, in the middle of KC.

I think kado posted at mvpmods how to fix this, but I might be confusing this with something else about freezing.

For me it's worth doing myself, the last thing I want to do is play half of a season, get into it and have it freeze. These rosters are intended for myself, but I decided to release them as well for anyone interested.

i have a couple questions, just to clear things up.

1. just so we're all clear. this is for MVP 05, on a non-modded xbox right?

2. will you be inputting the top draft picks of this year/ top 100 prospects?

3. what makes this better than anything thats out there?

1. regular xbox
2. no, only mlb rosters w/ some aaa guys. Not enough time fot that, mainly focusing on getting a roster done so I can enjoy playing a season asap. Next year I'll have more minor league guys in it.

Man just peeped this thread, I have your rosters for 2k5 so I know how you get down. Quick question, I know you mentioned that the roster would be for the regular xbox, are you by chance doing the edit with MVPEdit, the reason I'm asking is because i would like to use your rosters but since you're not doing the minor leaguers I would just import your teams into a roster I'm already using.

Side note, like daflyboys mentioned I did find the way to beat the roster freeze in dynasty its posted in the www.mvpmods.com console forum section, I tested it over several seasons and no freeze.

Can you provide the link to were it is posted at mvpmods.com. I also simmed several seasons with out the a dynasty freezing it only happened when I actually played the games. I'm not using MVP Edit, doing it through the console.
