Help wanted in MLB The Show 08

I was and still am a long time fine of the mvp series and especially the work done over at mvpmods.com. I was wondering if I could recruit some help and/or possibly some advice as to the possibility of developing a program similar to mvp edit that would allow gamers to unpack rosters from this game so that we can edit them in the same fashion that rosters were edited for the MVP series.

Now I know this is a console game, but people are and have been downloading roster files for the PS3 for awhile now. We just need a program that can open, read and edit roster files for MLB The Show 08.
