Ultimate Rosters vs. KG Roster Overhall

I recently purchased a copy of MVP Baseball for the computer and I was wondering which of these rosters is better. I've been playing with Ultimate Rosters 8.1 but I heard that KG's were really good. I don't really care about the updated ratings for the players, I'm just looking for the one with the most update transactions and minor league updates. Thanks.

I prefer KGs'...I think it's more accurate at the minor league level and more detailed overall.
Off the top of my head,I think KGs' is more up to date transaction wise than UR 8.1.
Try both and see which makes more sense for your gaming.

If you have computer, I'd try the MVP 07 mod. I haven't tried it yet (I just got a computer copy of the game also but my computer that can handle the game is on the fritz so I'm using an old one that doesn't have the specs) but have heard great things about the mods for 06 and 07.

I know Ultimate Rosters is eventually made available for the Xbox (what I'm playing on), but are KG's? And if so, where can I find them?

Actually, wangchi, it doesn't matter what mod you have installed, or any at all for that matter. The roster makers make different versions based on what rating system they use. Any yes, my understanding is that many people prefer the UR rating system and KG has the better minor league accuracy.

Ultimate rosters are more up to date I'd imagine. I play on the ps2 and KG's are the only one's available so I can't comment on the ultimate rosters, but KG did a fantastic job on both accuracy, and ratings. Both I'm sure have their good points and bad points. Dowie

KG's have a bit more depth on the minor leagues level.

Re: Ultimate Rosters vs. KG Roster Overhall

i am using kg's rosters for xbox (it's the beta file - version 2.0? - in the xbox downloads section of mvpmods.com)...i've been updating these rosters (mostly non-roster invitees) and also reviewing various depth charts. these are great and the amount of depth to them is unbelievable. highly recommend, especially since a lot of the player attributes have been updated to reflect changes in their respective careers.
