players attributes please read!

I know others have also come to the same conclusion I would just like a little advice. My base roster set that I use is the UR 7.0 version for the ps2. The rosters are extremely accurate all the way down to the single A parent clubs, BUT I along with others have noticed how skewed the individual players rating are. I.E. speed, pitchers stamina (really bad), and their contact and power #'s.
I've gone ahead and decreased every players speed ratings (using Carew's logic...thanks). Like he says nobody other than an elite few should have speed in the low to mid 90's, and Crawford and Ichiro, and Gathright should be the only one's above 95,
I'm doing the pitchers stamina tonight. (Again thanks to Carew...his formula is i.p. divided by appearances should = the guys stamina rating i.e. appearances 30 , innings pitched 180, his stamina should be 60.) This will really help with relievers coming in and pitching for 3 + innings at will. I.E. lefty specialists should have a stamina between 10 and 20. For instance 70 appearances 76 innings pitched = stamina of 10.
Now the tricky part. Hitting attributes: how does one do it at least for the major league level rosters. Should I just decrease each players power by 10,or both contact and power by 10? Or what? I know there are rosters out there using split stats, but the rosters themselves aren't accurate. I think the reason its so hard to find great sliders is cuz the game in it's standard format is so screwed up (ratings).
I hope to hear from someone who might have the answers.
Poo Diddy has a formula for the hitting sliders that look good but very tedious, you can find them in the rosters section under last year. Dowie

I don't totally agree with you on the speed, because there are guys in the minor leagues that are almost as fast, if not as fast as the players you mentioned.
