If you're losing and you quit, you need to get a loss

I've had at least a dozen times where people quit on me in the first inning when they're losing, because if you quit in the first you dont get a loss. I understand this if you're winning or its tied; sometimes people are going to want to quit because of a bad connection or whatever.

But it's really annoying to feel like you cant score in the first or else people will quit on you. Aside from that these people obviously need to grow up, I think EA needs to make it so that if you're losing and you quit you get a loss period.
