Does MVP lag on xbox live?

I just got xbox live hook up last week and I have mvp for ps2 but I wanna get it for xbox so I can play it online. I heard from 1 of my friends it did lag when he played.

just like any other game, it depends WHO you connect to.
I play with people with which the connection is smooth, the game basically runs like in single-player.
If you want to know if online play is worth getting mvp for xbox, then yes absolutly. I play more online games than I do offline now. You just have to find people with good connections to you, and when you do, add them to your friends list..

so when u play online, the lag you're playing with is due to the other person's connection, not yours? how do i tell how fast my own connection is running at? the lag has cost me couple games so far because it messed up the location of my pitches...also for anyone playing on xbox live does anyone notice how hard it is to hit, espcially fastballs...i'm getting better , but i was always behind on them..mosto f my games would end up 1-0 in extra innings...actually, when batting i just end up looking for breaking balls to hit, which ive gotten really good at...the pitchers eye helped alot..so far ive played about 90 games...i have a 1.3 era in those games, but only a 230 BA..mostly have had to use small ball: bunting, stealing, hit n run..hitting is getting better, but still hard to hit the fastball...though ive gotten 2 walk off HR's to the opposit field the past 2 games. maybe its the all star level that makes it so hard
