Mercy Rule/Option?

I'm playing a game against somebody who challenged me and he's really not that good... It's the third inning and I'm up 12 - 0 ... and it's taking him all day to get me out. For the last inning, I've just been taking every pitch just to end the game. His connection sucks (I swear, he must be a 56k) ... and the game just froze ... but I'm wondering, is there a Mercy Option in MVP like in Madden? In Madden or NCAA 2005, if you were up by a lot, you could offer Mercy or if you were down by a lot, you could offer to end the game early. I have to leave in 20 minutes, but the way this game is going, it could take that long ...

It's frozen now .... so I can't tell ... but is there a Mercy option to end games early?

Nope, they also should have put friendly quit in too. Sometimes the server or someones connection acts up late in the game.

When I played a 22 inning game the other day (neither of us could score) I was desperately in need of a friendly quit.
