bad glitch in game i think (hope not!)

love this game...its as close to perfect as it gets....

i been playing online a bunch (my buddy and i)....and we keep getting into situations where you are UNABLE to hit start...unable to warm up pitchers/replace pitcher....like i said you can ONLY throw a pitch....cant even pause game.....this wierd LOCKUP only happend until 1/2 inning is over.


has nothing to do w/ ejected manager...b/c we never argue calls.

any1 else have this prob?

It's if you do it too many times in a row. Think of it as a 'number of pause' counter. It's to avoid people who try to constantly click the left stick or hit the pause or white button to waste time.

Stupid if you are playing friends, but essential for playing the masses.

try doing your subs with the white button you can do it as many times as u want?...i think,but i had the same prob when i hit start button too many times it just kicked me out,when i was online....

Nope - I saw this last night in a game. It was the eigth inning, and neither one of us was able to use the start button or the white button to do anything.

Happened to me on PC last night...I hit the button to make a pitching warmup accidently a few times cause the button was sticking..then i couldn't for the rest of the game...

I'm sure a patch will be on the way for all of this...Its still a baby game and wasn't even supposed to be out till today

any1 think its related to arguing calls OR visiting mound? seem to see it more there.

Happened to me too, and people I've played against. It kinda sucks for those of us who like to set up our defense too. I can see how it's necessary to keep people from just leaving the game paused though....

It seems to happen every time I go to the menu three times in the half-inning. It can't be a bug...I'm sure it's by design.

Its stupid though cause sometimes you have to go 3 times in one inning.

I'll throw a vote in for this happening to me too. But I can't see EA putting a whole lot of time or money into this title at this point...too bad.

I think this is supposed to happen. It isn't a glitch, just a stupid decision by EA. They want to limit the number of times you can go to the screen to stall so they limit the number of times you can do it an inning. Every time it has happened to me it was after I had gone to the manager screen a few times and then it always started working the next inning.
