UFC Undisputed 2010. What I hope to see!

First off let me say this is without doubt the best combat sports game of all time. We are stil playing this like crazy after all this time. The amazing thing about this game is that there is so much room for improvment.

1. Give fighters multiple stances. (South Paw Stance is out of the game)

2. Make reach matter. Reach really plays no effect on game.

3. Make getting into full mount more difficult.

4. Way to easy to catch kicks or grapple from a punch. When you are playing at a high level no one can dominate with strikes. They are to easy to counter with grapple moves.

5. Better career mode. Maybe add a story to it or make it more open ended.

6. Menu's....This game takes to long after a match to go back and switch fighters.

7. Cut scenes...How many times do I need to see the fighters squaring up before each round or how many times do I need to see the beautiful Ariana.

What do you all think? Has anyone one heard about any plans THQ has for the sequel to this awesome game. I havent been able to find anything.

More fighters. Shane Carwin, Vitor Belfort, etc is another thing. Better overalls (i.e. Shogun should be a 95, Liddell should be a 85). Better/More animations and moves. Clinch against cage. Rapid knees. The game needed so many more things. It's like the game was in alpha or beta form. But I see a lot of potential in the series.

When ur pounding away on a fighter about to get a TKO, or just dominating in any fashion, I would absolutely love to see the refs jump in and rip you off.

Instead of mouthpieces flying out every knockout, I'd also like to see the ref/medical staff run to his aid and take his mouthpiece out.

I'd also like to see a more improved and more in depth career mode or even have the option to play as an existing fighter.

Play now mode should matter when fighting for a championship belt instead of just adjusting the fight to 5 five minute rounds and the champion being whoever is in the red corner.

More sloppy game play. Guys against the cages, more scrambles on the ground.

I'd love to see some form of "Game Face" technology for created fighters.

Re: UFC Undisputed 2010. What I hope to see!

Actually I have had the ref rip me off a downed opponent dozens of times. But anyway this what I want to see.

1. Leg kicks cause damage. This is a MUST. What is the point of playing as a Muay Thai fighter if leg kicks don't cause damage ?? Seriously I want to see if you land 3 solid leg shots, that the cpu will start to check them. And if you pepper them with leg shots the whole 1st round, the second round the fighter should start limping and should start moving slower and punches be weaker. Then if you pepper him the entire second round as well, then come 3rd roumd, a couple of solid shots and he should throw in the towel due to severe leg damage.

2. Way more submission moves. How can you not have a heel hook in the game ??? Or an anaconda choke or darce ?

3. More cage interaction. If I stuff a BJJ guy on the ground up against the fence, he should be trying like crazy to get away from the fence. And no way should you be able to pull off a submission move from the bottom when you are stuffed up against the cage.

4. Roster updates. Seriously, if this is to be considered a sport, then damn it it needs roster updates on a monthly basis.

PS Network: It's broken due to YLOD
Re: UFC Undisputed 2010. What I hope to see!

The stats actually do something.
When Hardonk and Coleman take the same ammount of damage from a CroCop superman punch with a strike defense differential of 14 points there's a serious problem. It's an even bigger problem when a head kick does only 3 more to Coleman when they have a differential of 36 points in kick defense.

Then there's the slams that ALL do the same damage regardless if it's Brock Lesnar vs. Brandon Vera or Roger Huerta vs. Ken Flo.

Then there's not having stats differ across weightclass, heck in my tests MW Hendo did MORE damage than LHW Hendo and Brock. (While LHW Hendo actually has 72 str rating and MW Hendo has 80,Brock is equal to MW Hendo with 80 as well.) In addition to LHW Hendo doing more than Brock with a RP but less with a LP.

And something that would go a long way in fixing that have fighters differ more in styles.

Re: UFC Undisputed 2010. What I hope to see!

Updated rosters online and the ability to change current fighters attributes...The game is great and what makes it so exciting is that there is so much room for imrovments.

To many people catching kicks and it is way to easy to get into full mount.

Re: UFC Undisputed 2010. What I hope to see!

I would like to see submission counters and submission transitions that they implemented in PrideFC for the ps2. Instead of every submission being an analog or button mashing fest, if you press both punch buttons (or kick buttons for leg submissions) together at the same time when a submission is attempted it immediately stops the submission or based on stats possibly counters into a better ground position. I'm sick of guys who just spam submissions. Subs supposed to be set up and are supposed to be tricky.

Also transitions would be nice. As Nog had on PrideFC. If you go for a triangle and someone stops it immediately you should be able to transition to an armbar or kimura if you're using someone with high BJJ stats. It would maybe help spice up the ground game.

As others have stated, transitions to better ground positions is to easy, muay thai clinch needs to be redone, clinch and ground positions against the cage needed, the whole grab punch or kick counter is ridiculous and hurts the standup game. It is way to easy to do and in real life would be extremely risky move.
