Just got no hit in game 6 of the WS...

So, I've played all 162 games of my first season in my franchise with the Braves. I beat the Nats by 4 games in the East, then beat the Brewers in 5 in the NLDS, then swept the Reds in the NLCS only to face the Rangers in the World Series.

I jump out to a 2-0 series lead at home, then go to Texas and they take 2 out of 3. So i'm heading back to Atlanta up 3-2 feeling pretty good about my chances and then run in to Neftali Feliz.

Granted I had already beaten him handily in game 2, he proceeded to carve me up left and right. His final line...

9 innings pitched, 13 k's, 5 bb's, 0 runs, and 0 hits.

First time I have ever been no hit in this game.

I'm about to go play game 7. I got Hudson going against Holland. Whatever happens, happens.....I don't quit and start over. I'm off to play game 178....haha

Man that sucks! (I'm a rangers fan so I'm happy, but happy for Feliz) I hope you can pull out the series win man! I can't believe you played every game! I wouldn't be able to stick with that for that long!

Not sure how this one would be any different than the one below talking about Adam Lind's stats. Anyways, I think it's kind of ridiculous how they lock threads around here. It's like the mods are personally paying for the server space or something. This is one of the few forums were I'm scared to post stuff just because I know it's going to get locked.

Anyways, I've decided to hold off till tomorrow night for game 7. 4 games in a row is enough for tonight lol. I'll post the results tomorrow if it isn't locked and anyone cares lol.

Just finished a 3 game series myself against the Rangers. I hit a HR with Trumbo in the 2nd against Feliz. Santana gave me 7 strong then Ernesto gave up a finger to Kindled in the 7th. We stayed that way till the 13th when Kendrys hit a line drive into the 1st row behind the right field wall.

Good luck, Matt. My most recent full season, which I finished last Friday morning at 1:20am, played out a lot like yours. I cruised into the playoffs with the Rockies, beat Philly in the NLDS in 4, swept the Cards, and then came the World Series against the BoSox.

I take the first two at home, drop the next two on the road. On Thursday night, I decided to play game 5. Won 4-1 and decided to play game 6 feeling pretty confident about going back to Coors Field. Lost game 6 4-3 due to three errors. At that point, I was furious, and decided to play game 7...even though I was really tired. I told myself I would play one or two innings and if I was too tired, or too tense to play effectively, I would just save it and play it out the next day.

Well, those 1 or 2 innings turned into a 14 inning game 7. So, you probably made a good decision to shut it down last night. I posted a long description of the entire series on the franchise progress thread (around page 100), and it includes the highlight reel of how that 14 inning affair turned out.

Again, though, good luck. That was my second full season (playing every game). Playing first as the White Sox, I lost game 7 of the WS on an 8th or 9th inning suicide squeeze which caught me completely off guard. Very frustrating way to end all those hours of gaming, so I certainly understand how you are feeling going into Game 7.
