G'MO's Custom Camera 3.0 (Final Edition)

*I'm using timing hitting with this camera*

What's up fellas... I'm back with my final camera edition. This is the 3rd and last camera I'll post for this year and I have saved the best one for last.

G'MO CUSTOM CAMERA 3.0

This camera is zoomed in like my 2nd camera but is centered (not offset). The zoom still gives you the ability to see the ball clearer (release point and ball spin). The camera angle is raised up so that you can better see the pitches angular velocity of breaking balls.

Here are some bullet points of how the camera has improved my game and made it more fun :

1) I lay off bad pitches naturally. (With the camera zoomed in, the strike zone is bigger and the "ball-zone" is smaller. Thus easier to lay off the bad stuff.)

2) Take low pitches more often. (With the camera raised, low pitches feel low. Balls in the dirt - you won't even think about swinging at them)

3) I don't miss hangers now (Just play and find out. I can't explain why, but I'm hitting mistakes harder and longer)

4) Play with more confidence. (With seeing the ball and reacting better, you're game will change. Now I take more pitches early in the count because I have the confidence that I can be a good 2 strike hitter. Thus I'm finding myself in more hitter counts because of my early patience. That means more grooved pitches opportunities.)

Without further ado here are the instructions how to recreate it below.

------------------------

Instructions (note steps 1-8 are the same as the REAL LIFE camera version)

1) Go to the batting practice mode
2) Pick Carlos Beltran as your batter
3) Pick anybody you want as the pitcher
4) Pick the practice field as your stadium
5) Once your into practice - go to your custom camera's
6) Use L1/R1 to get to the Catcher Camera Preset
7) Hold down R2 so the camera zoom's all the way in (as far is can go, it will stop on its own when maxed in)

Take a look at the pic below of where you should be at this point

8) Hold the Right Stick to the up (as far is can go, it will stop on its own when maxed up)

9) Press L2 so that camera backs out. Get it to the point that the bottom of the screen is with part of the strike zone where it's starts to angle to a triangle

Look at the red arrow in the picture below.

10) Slightly move the Left Stick Up so that now top of the strike zone is matched to the bottom of the the dirt of the mound. Another reference point is how the bottom of the screen with about 1/3 of the plate showing. Use either reference point (red arrows are in the picture below).

Look at the red arrows in the picture below.

And that's it...You will enjoy this camera guys. Play a game or two and you will notice who much easier and natural the game feels. I used it in regular games, franchises, and RTTS. Default settings and pitch speed at 5.

Lastly, remember to use Carlos as your batter and do it in the practice ball park (just for consistency of setup).

Let me know how it works out for you guys! I'll give you continued feedback as well!

Thanks guys. Let me know what you think after you play a game or two.

Another thing I like with the camera is how the batters are closer to the screen. So you really see their equipment, stance.. they just feel more life like being bigger.

Re: G'MO's Custom Camera 3.0 (Final Edition)

My problem has always been my inability to lay off low pitches. If this helps I'll have you to thank. I won't be able to give this a go however until Saturday night or Sunday afternoon.
