Stutter Pitches

[V419R]

On too many occasions I've noticed 'stutter pitches' (pitch is delivered, stops for a split second and then continues to the plate).

What's causing this and what will correct it?

You should post this in the bugs and glitches thread. I have not seen this but I don't doubt you. Does it happen during the windup, or while the ball is in the air?

it happens to me too. my brother and i always notice it, usually happens every other game or so.

No wonder why I'm striking out so much and I thought I just sucked at the game

Yup, have seen this numerous times now. Never happens twice in the same game but its always when I'm at bat and CPU is pitching. Definitely annoying.

I saw one where the ball was about the leave the pitcher's hand and got frozen for a split second before the pitch was delivered, I hit a home run off it.

I see something similar to this in online play, but rarely if ever in offline play.

I saw this last year and again this year. Fortunately it is, or at least for me, a rare occurrence. I tried rebuilding the database but that didn't solve it. I haven't started a franchise yet so maybe my initial reaction to rare is premature. At this time I'm just playing exhibition games.

Quite frustrating when it happens while you swing and the announcer chimes in with some comment...very embarrassing.

I also saw this stutter a lot last year. I haven't seen it so far in MLB 12, but I haven't had time to play that many games yet. I was hoping that it was gone, but I guess not. Same goes for the indistinguishable pitch history colors during an AB that's still not fixed for the 3rd year running .
