Not impressed w/Marlins new Park

Sorry Florida people... First game I played was Reds at Marlins just to see the new park.
Gotta say, compared with the drawings I saw last year, the new ballpark just looks like any other new ballpark.
By that I mean that my understanding was that there was supposed to be a large patio type area in left center field. The outfield was supposed to look more open-aired. And the aquarium was supposed to be more prominent.
But in the game, the ballpark looks a lot like Citifield.
I guess I was expecting something more revolutionary.

It's difficult for the devs to create a stadium after something that wasn't finished when they made it. Next year it should look great.

I don't know why, but it reminds me of a quirkier Miller Park sans awesome slide.

The stadium itself actually looks cool.

With the exception of that random HR display thing.

And the Marlins jersey looks better in the game then I thought. It's still the worst logo in the MLB lol, but not as bad as I thought before.

Though the jersey is even harder to look good when you compare it to the other jersey changes for 2012(notably the Jays)

I think the fence in center is ridiculous. That's part of the charm of baseball though.

The enormous thing in left center was pretty "interesting". I have no idea what it is.
