I'm not going to pretend to know about Rudy Owens, but just looking at his stats, the past 4 years he's gone 40-20 with a 3.1 ERA. Granted it's the minors, but I figured he'd be at least a low B.

He has went to spring training with the pirates 2 or 3 years now

from what i read on the Pirates web site, Owens wasnt gettin a legit shot to be promoted to the majors

That's true. Unfortuanately even though he's been doing good in AAA the past 2 years, he hasn't even got to throw an MLB pitch. He definitely will now.
