We'll start a support group. Or at the very least, swap his 3 years worth of upcoming AA stories.

H&V: "Yep. But it's weird, he's progressed to over 90 in almost all his /9 categories."

42: "Yeah. Me too. You gonna trade him?"

H&V: "I like to beat the CPU and all. But I don't like inflicting intentional agony on anyone. And he's progressed in to the greatest overall pitcher in baseball. He'll snap out it..."

But he never did...

Re: 2012 Franchise Progress Thread

I was looking at the stats in my franchise for some other teams. I noticed Greinke found a way to activate god mode. Either that or it's because he faced the Astros. That sounds about right.

10 IP, 0 Hits, 4BB, 13K

From the plate: 2 for 3 with a BB.

This was in a simmed CPU vs CPU game. They scored 5 in the 10th to win 5-0.

Re: 2012 Franchise Progress Thread

great game last night. Game 1 of the NLDS Padres vs Cards. I was down 3-0 in the 7th and scored 2 to make it 3-2. I eventually tied it and took the lead 4-3 in the 8th. In comes Street and easily gets the first 2 outs. Then Holliday singled and Berkman hit a 2 run bomb off me to win 5-4.

Another good game in game 2. Up 3-0 going into the 9th and I kept Volquez in as he has only allowed 3 hits and pitch count was only at 91 to start the inning. First batter pops up. Beltran singled to center. Holliday hits a 2 run bomb. At
This point I'm thinking not again. I pull him and put Street in. First batter is Berkman (have flashbacks to game 1). I get him to ground out to second and the final batter Freese hits one to the warning track for the final out.

Series tied 1-1 headed to STL.

Re: 2012 Franchise Progress Thread

Just lost a rough one...

I led 2 to 0 for most of the game then surrendered a 3 run homer. Down 3-2 now. I end up tying it at 3 only to let up 2 runs in the bottom of the 8th. Now down 5-3. In the top of the 9th my first two hitters both got out so it's now top of the ninth two outs and I pinch hit Ryan Doumit, he comes through with a home run! I'm feeling good because I have Jared Salty up next and I've been hitting great with him. I connect on a great pitch to hit and it's flying towards the right field wall, and it's.... off the top of the wall.... Salty gets in with a triple so I end up pinch hitting Nick Punto for the struggling Sean Rodriguez but Punto grounds out to the 1st basement to end it...

Very fun back and forth game but it sucked to lose being so close to tying it.
