Thanks Psycho. However, I think I answered my own question in regards to human pitching sliders. I decided to drop them both back to default and take my lumps while I tried to pitch better. I started my D'backs season over again (I have a bad habit of doing this when I make a change to an important slider(s) early in my season) and I learned that the sliders weren't my issue - and it had everything to do how I was pitching.

I was up 3-1 going in to the top of the 9th and Putz blew the save, but Kubel hit a walk-off homer in the bottom of the 11th. It was a damn exciting game. I struck out the cpu 11 times and walked him twice while giving up 13 hits (no homers, 3 doubles).

So I guess the question I really need answered is how does lowering the solid hits slider to 4 affect homers? Can non-power guys like say Jeter hit homers or is it just the power guys?

In my game, with the cpu solid hit slider at 4, he got 13 hits with no homers and 3 doubles. With the human solid hit slider at default I got 8 hits with 2 homers (Montero and Kubel) and 3 doubles.

And, with the cpu pitching sliders at 5,4,4 I walked 6 times and k'd 7 times. I think you have these sliders at 5,4,5. Do you think I need to bump strike frequency back up to 5? (cpu's strike ratio was 59%)

Thanks, and sorry for rambling.

How do you think these would work on all star meter pitching?

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)

Hey not sure where to ask this but was hoping someone here could help me out.

I made a league we have been testing some games and starting pitchers energy goes completely out no green anymore but there still able to keep pitching without getting injured.

My question is this do i drop stamina slider up or down to make starting pitchers stop going deep into games?

Same thing on the injury frequency i would think it would go up to make more injuries but in this online league there are injuries but pitchers pitch 10-12 innings with no injury.

Any help is appreciated.

@Psycho: what do you think about solid hits? Now it's at 4 but I feel like it should be 3, maybe even 2 for both human and cpu. I think you also had it at 2 last year.

Homer numbers are still fine from what ive seen. And contact guys can still jack them, in my last game i hit 3 bombs (Fielder/Cabrera) and Austin Jackson, a guy with similar power to Jeter. They are still there for those guys too.

Yes, put the CPU Strike Freq back to default - they throw enough balls/walks if you are patient enough.

No idea, try it, but bare in mind they are made for HOF and Pulse so there may be a variance.

They are now up on the Vault as Perfect v1.2

You would drop the starter stamina if you wanted them to pulled quicker. Yes they can pitch withtout energy but the velocities esp fastball go way down and they are more likely to be injured.

Solid Hits at default is nowhere near as amped up as it was last year, so a reduction of just the one click does the job this year. Much more than that and you will see XBH drop off significantly over time.

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)

If I were to use classic pitching what adjustments would I need to make? I would really love to use classic pitching with your sliders like I did last year, I like to get the game to use attributes as much as it possibly can.

Here are the settings I go with

Hitting: Timing
Pitching: Classic
Fielding: Auto
Thow decisions: On/Auto
Baserunning: Auto

Pretty much I just do the hitting and the pitching. This makes me feel that signing good free agents and "A" potential players are that much more important being that attributes will take a larger role with my settings.

Re: **Perfect Sliders 2012** (HOF)

Played a game with your sliders tonight. So far the best ones yet IMO. All-Star though with manual fielding. Houston (cpu) vs. Baltimore (ME). Lost 8 - 3. I was down 3 to 1 going to the 7th. simmed last 3 cpu at-bats and they scored 5. (Should have pitched myself. LOL) Bot 7th hit 2 run homerun. down 5 -3 after 7. Had baserunners in 9th down 8 - 3 but couldn't capitalize. They ended up 17 hits, but only 4 were XBH. I might bump up to HOF to see how I play there, but overall I liked the experience I got with setting on all-star. My hitting seemed to be very solid and I am starting to get better at pitch selections. Would the game play tighter if I had it on auto fielding? (Meaning not as many hits) Or is it just personal preference?
