What have you guys seen in regards to the issue? Is it just me?
I have pitched with some aces and found it to be pretty on point. Also remember (and something I love about this series) some days your ace or any of your top pitchers will not have "it" on any given day. That emulates the sheer randomness of baseball IRL. I would really play more games.

I had a game where Josh Johnson got bombed and chased out in 4 innings against the Reds then the next game I used him, he shut out the Red Sox and was untouchable. This was at the settings I posted.

But as always it is personal preference. And the only thing that matters is your enjoyment. So if this feels better for you......by all means.

Thanks for the input!

It was moreso along the lines of pitches consistently missing their spot by feet, not inches. Fastballs low and away with medium effort on the pitch would sail up and in, changeups in the dirt would wind up up and in, and so on. On 6/6, I'm still getting good results with the strike to ball ratio, but less wildness in pitch locations. One of the games I had on 6/6 was with Clay Buchholz, and I believe I had 5 walks to go along with 5 strikeouts. Good results for a guy who is occasionally erratic, but pitches weren't missing so wildly.

Another thing to consider is how long you hold the button down when pitching. I usually give about medium effort unless I need a K, where I will sometimes go until the vibration (max effort).

How is everyone feeling about the fielder speed, reaction time and arm strength. Thus far I feel it is pretty tight.

I may lower base runner speed by one more click to make sure the real base stealers are just that.

Again IMO we need 20-30 games to get a true statistical sample size.

No doubt I am absolutely loving this game and feel sliders will be set within the next week or two at the most.

Amazing job SCEA did this year out of the box. real similar to 2011 IMO. Minor tweaks.....and off we go.

I use auto baserunning and I have yet to see a steal by the user team? I know I can steal manually but I'm curious if they took out the AI stealing for a user team all together.

A few of us in General think SCEA removed the stealing part this year when using Auto Baserunning. I've yet to have the CPU steal or even take a lead when my runners are on base. I'm not the only one seeing this either, but I cannot confirm or deny the change this year.

Armor & Sword: Anytime you make a change to your first page slider numbers could you date the change and maybe the color of the new setting number. Otherwise it will be difficult to follow your changes. I play with the same exact setup and would like to follow your slilder set.

I'm using your sliders Armor and I have to say they are pretty good. I've played 4 games with them and getting realistic stats. The CPU is still hitting a little too easy. Out of the 4 games I played, the cpu has had no less than 10 hits in each game. One game they had 18 hits.

A little on the high side i think.

What about your games?

Still playing games and feeling things out. Really enjoying the game a ton.

Slight edits will probably be made to CPU hitting, fielder speed, Pitch speed maybe one more click down (personal preference that slider is) and CPU pitcher consistency.

I have played 11 games thus far. I want at least 10-15 more. Then I will finalize this set.

Marino....any thoughts or tweaks you are making?

What I will do is make a final set but keep version 1.0 as well on the front page and below make a final 1.2 set.

I love that this game is playing so well. There really is not much to touch...maybe a few tweaks in a week or so. But we are going to have a final set very soon.

Right now I have lowered strike frequency, Cpu control and consistency down to 3 each, and have been drawing between 2-5 walks a game.

I agree with the CPU offense, just feels they take forever to get going. In 5 games ive allowed 8 runs.
