Don't give up guys. This is a great project don't let it be ruined by one bad apple. You guys have done a ton of work and it would be a shame to see that go to waste.

I'm sorryi If I'm being the "bad apple" here. From my point of the view, the spreadsheet we were using hadn't been updated since everything that I had done about two months ago. Since nothing was being done here, I decided to do it myself. I'm sorry if people are feeling manipulated, deceived and whatever else, none of that was intended. I'll let you guys finish this and I won't pot my stuff online anymore. Best of luck guys.

can you send either bedwardsroy or myself (or post it in the vault so either of us can download it) the master file when you have finished what you're working so we can finish the 40 man roster

personally, I still want to and will work on the full 40 man roster.

I'll just keep it to myself and the others working on it, it's already caused too much drama. Just finish what Bedwards has.

wow.

well, if that isn't just the perfect example of a child getting upset and taking his toys home so no one else can play with them then I don't know what else is.

If everyone agrees that communication was the problem, then everyone just step back and get that worked out. Its a major problem that can be fixed very easily. Once the mode of communication is settled you can move forward on the project and it the process will go smoothly.

It can be done.

Re: OS All-Time Classic Roster (The Show '12)

All I did was collect everything that has been put into the vault the last few months. I had been checking the "master list" often and saw that nothing was changing. For those of you that followed what mainly Bedwards and I did last year (with a couple others), we spent a ton of time doing 90 teams, and by the end we didn't finish it, it was really frustrating. I wanted to have a playable roster within the next month or so.

I decided to collect everything myself, and put them onto what I last put into the vault. I've got all of Scooters guys (on the list), Subimes, Hoser's and so on. I found a lot of guys in the vault that had the players name/height, but the face was generic, so I did create those. If I already had a solid player X, I didn't add player X made by Sublime or whoever. I then gave them their correct stance, gave them proper attributes and so on. For the most part I didn't touch players faces if they looked fine.

I'm all for finishing a 40 man set, if Sublime or whoever wants to be the one posting into the vault I have no problem with that. If it's hurting peoples feelings that I'm doing extra work on this, I'll just drop out

I hope you guys can get together by PM and work this stuff out. I know there are a lot of people really looking forward to this project. Communication seems to have been the culprit here so open the communication up and see if it can be resolved. You guys do amazing work and I would hate to see it not get finished.

PJ, I did basically the same thing you did and am making a lot of progress. I'm interested in your work in whatever form you have it if you're willing to post your latest version to the vault. I'm more than happy to share my roster file with you or anyone else that is interested and you can use whatever you'd like from my roster as well.

I'm not all that interested in copyrighting my work. If others can use it then great. If not, that's fine too. I'm really just interested in getting a decent historic roster of each franchise's top players in a quick, yet reasonable, amount of time.
