Re: Fictional Rosters 2012

The spreadsheet will basically produce "V2" from last year. Once we have that finished, I will go in and clean up some things and then add the "Star Power" like I did last year.

We'll see where we are at when everything is entered. We may go ahead and release that, some people may prefer it, and then I'll put out the "Star Power" version too.

Re: Fictional Rosters 2012

Funny coincidence I thought I would pass along. I'm editing the Twins right now and I have 4, yes 4, different players with the last name Morales. Two catchers, a right fielder and a second baseman. None of them are very good so they wont all start on the Twins but I could see possibly all 4 of them starting on the AAA team.

Its a family affair!

Re: Fictional Rosters 2012

Hey would you mind if I jumped in on this?

I usually end up just creating random players on teams anyway and have loads of time to do this...

Let Me Know!

P.S.: Do You Have Any Specifications on Windups and Batting Stances?

The Diamondbacks were going to trot out a lineup of two Joses, two Jorges, a Julio, a Juan, a Jimmy, and a John in a spring training game at some point. I shifted one of the Jose brothers to SF, but their backup catcher and starting firstbasemen are both Jorge.

"Jorge blasted another homerun last night!"

"Jorge Martinez or Jorge Estrada?"

"Heck if I know."

The list I have does not have batting stances, but all the pitchers are given windups.

Re: Fictional Rosters 2012

LOL yeah the spreadsheet really gets in a rut especially with Hispanic names. You don't have to worry about it too much. Thats one of the things I can fix pretty easy at the end. Feel free though to change'em up a little if you run into a string of "Joses".

Giants and Dodgers are done, save for one dupe I'll need to edit out when exporting. Will get started on Padres next.
