The 2008 Florida Marlins

I was just watching the Marlins beat up on the Mets and thought I'd come here to discuss what a great year Florida is having... only there is no thread for 'em! Being a Florida native myself I felt obligated to get the discussion going.

So, as I speak the Marlins are currently two games on top in the NL East, Dan Uggla is tied for the Most Jacks it the Majors, they just secured arguably the best young player (Hanley Ramirez) to a long term contract, and are playing great baseball right now with one of the lowest salaries in the bigs.

They're playing very good. I hope they sweep away the Mets this series.

Yea.. as much as I wan't the braves to gain some ground on first place, I'd much rather watch the mets spiral further downward. I know that messed up but for some reason watching the mets slide down the standings just makes me happy. Sorry mets fans.
