Good game with the Cubbies.

At least that 300lb sack hit 50 hrs last year and was on the winning team today.

Gwynn ruined Fukudome's nice debut.

Gagne was lousy, but at least he mopped up the last three outs.

Gagne is not going to make it to the end of the season as the Brewers' closing pitcher. He couldn't spot that fastball today. He is not the same guy he was when he played for the Dodgers. Everyone knows why.

Not a big brewers fan, but I do have a lot of respect for the Gwynn name, he had a solid game. Here's hoping he makes it difficult for the brewers to keep him on the bench. GO GWYNN

I know the Padres have a lot of respect for Gwynn as well. He beat the Pads last year with a triple and the Padres owner flew Gwynn back home to watch the one game playoff.

That's class all the way around.

For the Brewers sake, let's hope your wrong.

The Brewers are hoping that they get the Gagne from the Rangers, not the set up man in Boston.

His fastball is not what it once was, that's for sure.

I think it's a bit premature to make any predictions based off of one game.

You are right. It's only one game. And I was surprised he pitched as well as he did in Texas last year. And to be honest, Gagne is an awesome individual off the field so I'm sure he will be a positive influence in the club house.
