2008 Arizona Diamondbacks

Since I may very well be the only D'backs fan in the entire world, this whole thread could just be me talking to myself.

Re: 2008 Arizona Diamondbacks

looks like were the only 2 D-Backs fans on here!

They are off to a good start (4-2), and would be 5-1 if Lyon didn't blow a save in Cincy.

Remind me again why we traded the national league save leader (Valverde) for a career bench utility infielder and a better than average reliever. (Burke, Qualls).
This is like the third time they have tried and made Lyon the closer, and it never works, he throws strikes, but look at what happens when you don't have a 90+ fastball (just ask Edwin Encarnacion).

Oh well, maybe Pena or Qualls will get the role and be a true closer.

Time will tell......

Just faced Valverde on the Show, damn he's so nasty.......

He must of really pissed someone off in the front office to be traded.

yeah...........sorry u dodger fans had to witness that sweepage!

that's how we dooze it. Time for another NL West crown.

I thought Torre would have those guys playin better, he made some very questionable desicions in that series tough.

but, I guess he does have 4 rings. Still think he burns out his starters....

Its only the second week of the year, dont get your hopes up. But i do think its going to be a tough and close race between Dbacks, Dodgers, Madres.

Not if we hit they way we are all season. This team gives the Giants a run for their money in terms of offensive ineptitude.

That's ok, don't give the Rockies any credit. Easily the best lineup in the west yet everyone overlooks us. We'll see how things go tonight against Webb.

Rockies don't have enough pitching to get it done.

Sorry to say, but last year was a fluke.

Rockies won't finsh higher than third. Oh and by the way 0-4 against the D-Backs.
