Yeah, count me in.

Garrett Anderson looks to be the Garrett Anderson of old.

Vlad should be awesome as usual this year, but I still question if the Angels have enough bats around him to be serious contenders. If their pitching can get and stay healthy, they should win the West, but they need the offense around Vlad to step up if they want to play deep into October.

The bomb Vlad hit was ridiculous. It was about 20 feet up the green embankment.

Kendrick continues to make fabulous plays in the field. Don't forget the throw Garrett made to cut Piazza down at 2nd.

There aren't many around here but I'm in as well.

Tonight's matchup should be a good one, Haren v Lackey. Lackey has pretty much owned the A's his whole career.

Dude...That throw was horrible and still got to second in enough time to get Piazza. Every fan was yelling "YOU ARE GREEDY" because prior to that he got a double, So he tried it again.

Also something you will never witness on tv or probably again is this play.

KROD is in for the save, Travis Buck just hit a Double and the 3rd base coach held up Todd Walker ( Which was a horrible choice because the ball was hit into the gap and Matthews Jr, Bobbled the ball up against the wall....Walker was standing on 3rd for about 2-3 mins before the ball got to HK )

The next Batter...hit a fly ball to Vlad....Fans were chanting towards vlad something and then Vlad looked at the fans and threw a ball on a rope on the fly to Molina right at his chest..from RF to Home...like telling Walker come on I dare you to go. The crowd went nuts and gave him a standing ovation, the place was electric after that.

Also, speaking about Vlads Homerun, when it launched his bat we all knew it was gone when it was in the air...we were all going nuts. Just wish it was over the bullpens so I could have gotten the ball. Also He came out for a Curtain Call after the HR because fans were Chanting "Vlad"

Overall awesome game

As usual, Lackey owns Oakland.

Re: LA Angels 2007

Shields could close for a lot of teams in the league.
