New year, new thread - right?

Just a little bit on the LaRoche rumor front:

Yeah, I don't think we'll get what we need out of that deal of it does happen to go through. LOL @ the Reitsma situation.

Let's just stay pat. I think we have what we need to contend this year. Our team is pretty much set, imo.

i agree. unless we get something that really will replace 30+ hrs and 90+ rbi from first base (think of all the bad years at 1b we had before laroche picked up his play) i dont think we should move him.

not saying to get a 1b in return but that much production deserves more compensation than an iffy lead off hitter and a closer for a team that has never been in contention while he was with them.
