Yep, I know that. My first post was when Miner came out for the 4th, followed by my 2nd post after the HR.

It was foolish to leave Miner in. He didn't have it today. Hopefully, they have another 6 run inning up their sleeves.

Damn... Wise has robbed Santiago of a potential 2-run double to the right-centerfield gap.

Edit: The bases are loaded now with Anderson up. Big opportunity to get back in the ball game.

Base hit! 8-6 ball game now. We have a gool 'ole fashioned shootout going on here.

2nd & 3rd nobody out and they can't get a run home.

Leyland really needs a plan to get these players to manufacture some runs home.

It sure didn't look like Granderson was attempting to put the ball on the ground to the right side to get the 1st run home. Who takes blame for that? Coach or player?

I never thought I would see the day when Miggy actually steals a base.

Good pitchers' duel going on this afternoon between Galarraga and Contreras. Still scoreless after 4 innings of play.

I'd initially say the coach gets the blame, but if the player is allowed to do it under the coach's blessing then he also gets share of the blame for not attempting it.

Great at-bat by Polanco. He earned that hit fouling off so many 2-strike pitches.

Thumbs up Re: Tigers' Den (Home of the Detroit Tigers)

Man, I don't know if Everett's job as a full-time player is safe now that Santiago has raised his level of play at the plate to go along with his always-reliable glove. Santiago's performance demands he gets more opportunities, and that just might make Everett a part-time player soon.
