Yep, they mumbled away plenty of early opportunities. These guys just don't have the passion. There is no fire.

Serious question.....Will the Tigers ever get to .500 at any point this season?

1) How on earth can you question the passion or fire after four games? Seriously. This isn't football where you crash into people all day long. It's baseball.

2) The Tigers were .500 when they started the year 0-0. To suggest they can't overcome a two game dip with 158 games to go is simply ludicrous. And you think that's a serious question?

Honestly, I think I'm going to unsubscribe from this thread. The lunacy is starting to bother me.

Yes he is. If Miggy keeps this up, he'll without a doubt be a season-long candidate for AL MVP honors.

And speaking of Dontrelle Willis, I don't want him anywhere near the starting rotation whenever he gets back. Have him fight it out with bottom rung of relievers with Rincon and Robertson.

And lost in the discussion is how Armando Galarraga has been pitching today. So far he has been stellar shutting down a notoriously hot lineup of hitters.

It was funny hearing Lyon get booed in the opening introductions. His first ever game in Comerica and that is his welcome

Heh, that was a classic moment. And Leyland got his share of boos today, too. It's obvious that Tuesday night's game had left a bad taste in a lot of people's mouths.

While that is three good efforts from starting pitchers in row, definatly a big positive. Gallaraga was outstanding today against a team that was red hot coming into the game as well.

Miggy is just flat out amazing. I could see him possible winning the triple crown.

If the bullpen can pull it together when Zumaya gets back they could do some good things this season.

Completely agree with Rudy as well, lol when people jump ship 4 games into the season.

Re: Tigers' Den (Home of the Detroit Tigers)

Good win today. Looked they they were having fun. Verlander tomorrow. Hopefully the Ace of the staff will do what Aces do and shut down the Rangers. For whatever reason the Tigers always have problems scoring runs the day after a blowout victory.

Miggy is dialed in. Keep mashing it Tigers.
