I couldn't believe what he did last night. He had something like 7-10 pitches in a ROW at 100+. How the **** can someone consistently throw that hard!?

Well, the home gun is certainly friendly, but that kid feeds off the crowd like no one I've seen in years. He's nasty.

Ughhhh...leadoff triple by C-Mo in the 9th, only to be stranded, 2-1 loss to Texas.

Lightbulb Re: 2006 Detroit Tigers

What happened last night against the Rangers kind of touches on what concerns me about this Tigers team. Not many players on this team can be relied on to lay down a bunt whenever necessary. Yeah, it would just more convenient to just wait for the timely hit with a man on 3rd base with less than 2 outs, especially when Dmitri Young came to bat already with hits in his previous at-bats. But even if it's more risky to pull off, a squeeze would've been great to run in this situation. However, I can't blame Jim Leyland for not calling one last night simply because he doesn't have the confidence in the guys to put one down.

DAMMIT, Maggs gets gunned down at home plate in the 7th inning...

Still 7-6 Texas.
