I don't even like the astros, but they are missing a thread and I found a funny quote....

Outfielder Preston Wilson, who averages a strikeout every 3.6 at-bats, is impressing the Astros with his offensive approach.

"I know he's a free swinger, but at least half his strikeouts this spring have been looking," Astros general manager Tim Purpura says. "That leads me to believe that he's trying to be more aware of the strike zone. He's still going to strike out a high percentage of the time. But he's more cognizant of it, and is trying to get better pitches to hit."

I don't see the comedy... Purpura is probably right. He is probably trying to be more patient at the plate, which is beneficial to him and the team.

The News
Astros outfielder Preston Wilson went 0-5 with five strikeouts in Monday's win over the Brewers.
Our View
Ouch. Wilson had homered in four of the previous five home games, but he clearly wasn't on his game last night. He's never been a stranger to the strikeout, and it's not surprisingly to see him whiff often. But five?!?
