Who is Camden Nelson Graves?

This guy is a CAP on the Twins double a team, who ends up starting at third base in myplayer when I play against him. I have never seen a CAP fake player, so who is he and why does he not have a generic name.

Whenever I get a few years into a franchise or My Player, I always see him and Xavier McBath tearing up. I've often wondered myself if they are based off of real prospects or not. I haven't been able to find anything, however.

I guess I don't get it. Do people really think these goofy made-up player names are based on real players? I always assumed they were simply 2K's humorous response to Lobster Cola and the like.

I have a pedro cerrano myplayer and I made the full roster for Major League on the indians, and after one season everyone except Rube Baker and Rick Vaughn were gone and FA's and nobody picked them up, so I requested a trade to the Orioles and in Spring Training I have a .490 batting average, 14 home runs, and 41 rbis, and I still have a week left. Xavier McBath bats leadoff for the O's and has a .304 average. Who are these guys?

what is lobster Cola. I only know of two african-american/hispanic with Irish last names, and they are Shaquille and Jermaine O'Neal (not related) (if you don't know who I am talking about they are african-american, and may I also say if you don't know who I am talking about you must have lived under a rock for the last 20 years.

And just as puzzling, what does Irish have to do with any of this? Whose name is Irish? And even if it was, so what?

race has nothing to do with this thread. All I was saying was that anything with "Mc" or "Mac" in front is Irish. It just takes realism away from everything, like giving Kevin Mench's fake player an asian name (Kazou Choo). I like realistic more than fantasy when it comes to video games. Also, most of the fake players are actually generic cyberfaces for real players, but some of them have races mixed up and weird names (like Kevin Mench). It has the years pro, birthday, height, batting stance, and all that. Check out the fake players thread in the roster forum.

It is because he doesn't have a contract with the MLBPA. I'm sure that's not all of it, but somebody else could explain it better than me.
