Odds of a PC Patch

For what I understand PC sports games get patches way later than their console counter parts. Since they basically rushed the patch out of QA, what are the odds of the patch actually getting released for the PC.

Last year the PC patch came out the same time as it did for consols.

With this reportedly being the last year for MLB2K12, I'd say the chances for a patch might be slim.

Hm? They said they handed the patch out to Microsoft and Sony already and you say the chances for a patch might be slim?

Microsoft and Sony have nothing to do with the PC game though. I'm not really sure who the patch goes through for the PC version. Valve would make sense for those who bought it through Steam, but you'd figure it would be out already for those who bought the regular release from 2K.

Seeing as how they only mentioned Microsoft and Sony, it would appear that PC users might get shafted.

So some how Microsoft and Sony determine if the patch comes out on the PC through Value or 2K them-self? Yeah, that makes complete sense. They specifically mentioned only Microsoft and Sony, which have nothing to do with the patch coming out through Value (steam) or 2K.

They released it around the same time as consoles last year. I would expect about the same this year. Although there have been issues with the NBA 2K series and patches, mainly because they have to release them to the digital distributors at the same time. Most DD's have a certification process along the same lines as consoles. Since there was no mention of a PC patch, it does make you wonder...

Nothing to be confused about. They probably will screw us like I said because the game is being discontinued.

They always only mention Microsoft and Sony when disusing patches, there is no 1st party to give the PC patch for review. The PC patch is held untill the console patches are released for some reason. I assume so people do not complain
