So ballpark factors are involved? I didn't know if they were or not.

I don't know if it's just imagination or if it's real. But IMO in some ballparks it is way easier to hit homers than in others. As I said in AT&T I can't hit many homers for some reason, but in Detroit, Texas or in Colorado and Philadelphia they drop and drop.

Re: Lack of home runs from non power hitters.

I've noticed this as well...I played a series at Wrigley. Both teams hit at least 2 HR per game, with one game having 6 HR balls. So there has to be some kind of ballpark factor, because the ball seemed to carry more at Wrigley than I was used to it doing in Detroit or anywhere I'd played (and playing at Oakland was the opposite, it felt very vast and difficult to hit out of the park.)

I hadn't look that close but I do know (I'm the Rangers) when we go to Oakland my bats go to sleep. But that was so obvious I couldn't miss it. I hadn't really paid attention to any other parks.

I am leaning to believing they do based on my inability to do much of anything in Oakland's park compared to my own park or what we do in Detroit. I don't see anything in game that let's us see any park ratings tho.

I do not know if they play ALL realistically, but somehow they play at least different. If I am not misleading somehow the wind factor has to do with it? When you look at the waving banners in some stadiums they seem to stand still, others wave in the direction of the batter, others in direction of the pitcher, etc. But I do not know if this is influencing the game or it is only an animation. But sometimes when you hit a ball you see that it will make strange changes of direction in the air (ball trail on) and that could normally only be caused by wind I assume.
