Don't feel bad for changing teams so much. I first began a franchise with my hometown Phillies, but when I almost got to the All Star break, I decided to switch to the Pirates and make them a contending team year in and year out. But after seeing what Mike Trout is doing and having Weaver and Trumbo on my fantasy baseball team, I want to switch to the Angels. That would be dumb to do though since I am in August of my Pirates franchise.

Do you play all games? I am currently playing them all in my ranger's chise. I started one over with my home team the Rays, and I play ever sixth game. So I play each starters next appearance. For instance, if my bull-pen was:
(p.s.: not real rays line-up, fake made up names)

1. Matos
2. Kinten
3. Santos
4. Khane
5. Hoover

So, I play "Matos'" first start, Then I play "Kinten's" second start. "santos'" third, "Khane's" Fourth, and "hoover's" 5th. Then go back to the start. Matos' sixth, etc etc. Try it, it's fun. That and I really suck at pitching. Good thing My offense is slammin.

I do play every game, but it's only going to be for the first season. It is just too long. Your idea sounds nice, but I feel like I am only playing a little bit. I will figure out a system for the next season.

Re: MLB 2K12 Official How's your Franchise Going Thread

My Franchise was fairly decent until the game against Astros and Jordan Lyles. Lyles walked 17 batters! He walked my guys to load the bases, and then proceeded to keep walking my players forcing in run after run. I had to switch teams and take him out.

Oops, I'm playing 2K11 and just realized this is a 2K12 thread.

Thanks, I just changed to White Sox since like no one ever uses them. I just hate that I cant hold a season for a long time.

Re: MLB 2K12 Official How's your Franchise Going Thread

So I was thinking of creating a franchise in a little while. My favorite team is the astros but they suck so I won't win that many games. I was looking through different teams and I found two that I might want to play as. They were the dodgers and the phillies. Out of those two which should I be?

Also how do you hit only during the franchise? Because pitching is kind of hard to me.

Re: MLB 2K12 Official How's your Franchise Going Thread

I just started a Cubs franchise and made a big trade. I traded Ryan dempster, David dejesus and Travis Snyder(got him 4 a reliever in spring training) to te red sox for Adrian Gonzalez(starts in right) and Daniel nava. Then I traded Ian stewart for Jose Lopez. I played my first game and beat the nats 5-4 in 14 innings. All my runs came on homers. I was down 2-0 when Soriano tied it with a 2 run shot off Strasburg. Then Espinosa hit a solo shot to give them the lead. Garza went 7.1 3 runs 7ks. In the 8th Jose Lopez gave tied it with a solo shot. For me Parker pitched the 9-12 allowing 1 run a homer to Adam laroche to hove them the lead. In the bottom half soto kept the game going with a solo shot lit tie the game. Then Manuel corpses I think it was pitched 2 scoreless innings. Then in the bottom of the 14th Soriano lead off with a double ten rizzo singled him over to 3rd then Soto won it with a single! After the game I released Parker and signed bobby jenks and Javier Vasquez for my bullepen.
