Just a quick question, on the PC version of the game can you upload your own pictures for rookies who just have the generic face, for instance can you put a picture of bryce harper or will middlebrooks or yoenis cespedes into the game, or are we just stuck with the fake generics?

The following question has MLB 2k modders mystified:
What file are the base coaches contained in?
Unlike the NBA, MLB base coaches are assigned names and numbers. They are also automatically assigned whatever uniform is selected prior to the start of the game. So where is this file? So that we can re-assign real coach names and numbers to their respected teams.
We know that the team name for the jacket is #3 on the uni iff. And the shoulder texture for the team jacket is 19 on the uni iff but the base coach name/number assignments remain a mystery.

Questions about the Franchise Stats.

I just started a new franchise, 3 games in. WHen I go to look at the stats it says that Andrew McCutchen has 0 games played 0 hits 0 RBI ect. All the other statistics for the other players are off also.

Is there a way to fix this?

some teams start before others. I started an orioles association and I started around the 7th of April, I don't remember the exact date though but it was after opening day around most of the league.

with my player, im trying to wear both the plastic elbow pad with the sleeve under it.

how do u do it? i noticed they have it for Derek Jeter...or is it just only for him

So I was playing in franchise mode and Chris Carpenter randomly went down to the minors, and I don't know how to call him up. Does anyone know how?

I actually have run into the same problem in my Franchise with Albert Pujols. I'm in late September so I'm going to wait and see if the game could read 5 games as 5 days. However, I created another save file and tried this out, and it does work:

Just release the player. You obviously will have to take a cap hit (since I'm so late in mine, I only needed to eat 148k, but it was going to be 2.4 million for the next 9 years.) Then sign him again. His stats will still be slightly decreased like he is on his rehab stint though, and I haven't checked if after 5 games his stats go back to normal.

It could also be beneficial because you can sign him slightly lower than you could be paying him in future years. (aka, with pujols, my salary and cap hit totaled to like 11.7-12/year where i would be paying him 12.6 on his current contract for 2013, not to mention if I get later and his contract goes all the way up to 20/yr.

I have a question, in my player I'm a starting pitcher and I already have 5 pitches, is it possible to switch some of them for other pitches?
