Im pretty sure with total control pitching that the controls are reversed (excluding the change-up and fastball) for RHP and LHP.

And you can turn of the pitch location icon, i can't remember if it's under controller settings or presentation settings but its the catcher suggestion option.

Re: MLB 2K12 Wishlist

1. Have fatigue work at a realistic rate that forces CPU teams to sit their players more often, or as often as users. I want players to play the realistic amount of games per season.

2. Fix the fielding animations. Some of these look good, but most are so jerky you want to scream. If everything flowed smoothly from fielding the ground ball to throwing it, this game would look 10x better.

3. Fix running animations and the overall path a base runner takes. I don't need to say more really. The Show does this very well in my opinion.

4. Upgrade the graphics and details. For some reason the game looks good, but at the same time is ugly to me. Make everything look realistic. The game looks good, but not real.

5. Add the little things in. It drives me insane for some reason not seeing the kids in foul territory field balls and throwing it to the crowd. Also, have players at the end of innings throw the ball into the crowd. Have ball boys get foul balls. Have the umpire and catcher exchange balls after a pitch in the dirt or a foul ball. Those little things go so far.

Most of my wants are graphical and animation wise. This game plays great on the field, it just doesn't look great nor does it have that many great little details. I really like the game this year, but the list above really drives me nuts. If those were all fixed this year, I'd never need an upgrade from year to year.

In 2k9 or maybe 2k8 players would throw the ball in to the stands. I can't believe they took that out.

Re: MLB 2K12 Wishlist

Here is my list of things I would love;

The ability to send your teams pitching coach to the mound instead of the manager. Also be able instruct your catcher go out there.

The game, with the excellent presentation, needs a pregame show IMO, or even a season preview - wrap up like the old college hoops games. Your going for a Fox/ESPN esque Presentation 2K, why not go all the way.

An update on the player models, specifically making the faces feel more alive.

Change the score box to a score bug (aka NBA 2K11) as thats the way most networks seem to be going.

Maybe have the ability to vote for All Star members during a Franchise?

Please, Opening Day, All Star Game and Game 1 and 3 of the World Series at least, add lineup introductions and the National Anthem. Baseball is all about atmosphere and to make those games feel very special goes along way to creating that.

For those who say "But I'll just skip over that" think about those of us who won't. It's much better to have too much of something then too little when it comes to presentation.

Get more Sponsorship Deals, it seems a bit flat just having State Farm. Add Gatorade, Crackerjacks, Majestic, Topps. Maybe even do a "Insert Brand Here" Game of the week etc.

I always wanted since sports games went to nexgen to have one of those overlays saying "Presented in High Definition by 'insert brand here'"

Add a more detailed weather report (and if possible add rain etc)

When going into the bottom of the 1st, please bring back the Road pitchers stat line. I hate not having it in 2K11.

Also if you don't get around to announcing the defense lineups in the 1st inning, put it in the 2nd. I always felt that was odd not having it in there if you don't get around to presenting it in the 1st.

Please bring back the in game sports ticker. I used to love that.

Please make Bullpen transitions less awkward. Cut to commercial when they come in then come back with the relievers stat overlays.

Also please allow us to bring in a relief pitcher in the next inning, not having to wait to the beginning of the inning we want to bring the pitcher in. I hate having to go to the mound again in the opening.

Thats all I can think of right now. I know there are better people then me on this board who can identify specific gameplay that needs addressed. This is just what I would add if I was working on the dev team.

I remember NFL2K5 had the sportscentre presentation show after each week was completed in franchise mode. One of the best sport games i have played for that alone. Madden has also had a crack at that of late with it's Extra Point and even though its crappy in comparison to NFL2K5 it made the game so much more enjoyable.

Re: MLB 2K12 Wishlist

i know this is asking alot, but i know it can be done because it was done in one of the all-star baseball games from like 5 or 6 years ago. What about an expansion mode? like, you pick a city that doesn't have a team, you create the team, uniform, stadium, etc. and then have to go through an expansion draft with another random team that the computer creates. You can pick from any of 5-10 unprotected players from each major league team, and 5 randomly selected prospects from the minors for each team, to fill out your minor league teams.

This is perfect. So much of this stuff has came to mind since I first started playing 2k11. This is just little stuff but it really adds to the depth of the game and in my opinion is a very important piece to the puzzle. The presentation to this game is good but with additions like all those aforementioned, the presentation would be phenomenal.

What do you mean by this? The CPU never edits my lineup.
