OFFLINE FRANCHISE WISHLIST

1. Expanded rosters with 2-3 Mandatory cut day during the off season with waiver period.
2. Re-do scouting should be time based by area and scout
Draft boards to organize scouted players.
A couple of mock drafts presented by the Extra Point during the season would be nice.
Get rid of potential during scouting or only have it report on scouted players
During the draft have the hexagon and potential only available for scouted players
Better draft presentation needed
Break up the draft into 2 or 3 days
More draft day trades like Head Coach
3. Better Free Agency system...there really is no negotiation process
4. Practice squads
5. Fix the half tackles so they add into the overall number of tackles for the season.
6. Add more position coaches that have effects on the position ratings
7. I want to use my offensive coordinators playbook..and defensive coordinator.
8. Before coaches contract are up i want to be offered to resign them before they get lost in the pool of available coaches.
9. Better overall control of my balance sheet I.E how much money i need to make in order to pay my expenses..am I turning a profit? how does this effect anything?
10. When I upgrade my stadium I want to see the changes in game.

12. 45 man game day active roster.
13. Trade future draft picks
14. Contract issues for some players should be a distraction and ratings should decrease for some players during contract years some players should see a slight increase in ratings during contract years too. All things should "normalize" once the contract extension is signed. Hold outs would be part of this.
15. There should be some players requesting to be traded and some players refusing to sign the franchise tag 1 year contract.
16.Integrate more of the playbook learning features from Head Coach.
17. Add more playoff scenarios to the Extra Point, Add more discussions about contract potential free agents league top stories to the Extra Point.
18. Coaches ratings should change year to year.
19. Special Teams depth chart
20. A separate commentary team for Monday and Thursday games. Playoffs and the Superbowl could use this team as well.

21. Better draft presentation I.E calling out the end of each round, player cut scenes.
22. The ability to build a new stadium without in your teams current city without having to relocate.

29. Rookie contracts, don't let players accept long term 7 year contracts without a bonus as it makes it to easy to sign steals to long term deals and even if they don't pan out then let cut them for free. Another great option here would be make players holdout of training camps and preseasons and become a distraction if they think they are underpaid.
30. Playbook creation. A full play creator would be nice but we all know they don't want to add one in for fear of cheese so at least allow us to build a playbook out of plays already in the game. Also, allow the size of this to be as big as we want only limited by the number of plays our players can learn. This would allow us to build our playbook around our team and develop it as the team changes
31. Training. Allow us to train our players in a way similar to 2ks but with the ability to train for long term increases. This can also include improving play knowledge, gaining and losing weight, and any other training. Also this training should be able to be conducted in training camp, rookie camp, OTAs, etc.
32. Extra Point season wrap up show on potential free agents, big contracts, retiree's and potential hall of fame inductees.
33. Extra Point kickoff show.. recently inducted players, player/coaching movement, predict season standings etc..
34. We should have the ability to change franchises at any point without having to control all 32 teams from the start.
35. The injuries need to be revamped. Most long term injuries only happen during simmed games. I love that there are more injuries this year but there is no reason i should be able to go through 2 seasons with no IR and no one out long than 1 game. More medical reports would be appreciated.

37.compensatory picks for free agents lost
38. Raising of a conference championship or Superbowl banner that stays in your stadium that you accumulate throughout a franchise.

I am liking this list, tho I think it will be nearly impossible to put all these into next year, but this is where I want to see Franchise mode heading. Especially in the drafting department. I wrote earlier that the draft was boring and I am not expecting anything big, but something like a cut-scene ala NBA Live 2003 (i think) where your first round pick walks to the podium. And bring back the booing and cheering fans. Maybe add some commntary, even if it is vague. It can be soooo simple too, like "This concludes the "X" round." Shouldnt be too hard.

Also, cannot stress enough the building a stadium without relocating. you messed that... haha

Great list. Some things I would add:


Player abilities and making players unique
1. Play knowledge and learning
2. Player personalities
3. More ratings in the mental areas (read blitz for qbs, oline, rbs, read coverage ratings, zone and man, for qbs and wrs, route accuracy ratings for recievers, etc)
4. Player tendencies and aggressiveness ratings
5. Coach tendencies going more in depth than they do now at least to the level of vip from 2k

Draft and scouting
1. More info about draft picks but less exact info. Go away from exact ratings and show a strengths weaknesses thing like HC09 along with maybe a handful of numbers but without potential or player comparisons or anything that tells you how good players will be
2. Something mentioned during the extra point show, previews of top prospects, mock drafts, etc. but LEAVE STEALS AND BUSTS OUT OF THIS DISCUSSION. Steals are steals because they are unseen and busts are busts because they are thought to be good so they should be talked about accordingly going into the draft.
3. Allow us to trade for future picks and allow us to have more than 10 picks. If you are worried about an easily abused system then go to something like HCs system.

1. Contract Negotiation. Make it more of a back and forth type negotiation. Not like 09 where you just go in and it tells you what they want and you sign them but also not like 10 where you just try to guess what they want. It needs to be a back and forth thing where you put your offer out there, they counter, you counter that, etc.

Have retired numbers and numbers that are out of circulation for each team. I played the Packers in year 2 of my franchise and their punter is wearing #4. I know I can change it manually but I don't feel like going through each teams roster each year to check that nobody has a number that they shouldn't

Also editing a player like that in Franchise makes them unable to progress or regress for the rest of their career.

This is an amazing list. I would love to see more draft presentation and player personalities. Also, the Extra Point to show highlights and to talk more indepth about playoffs, drafts ect....

Oh, and maybe not a franchise request but the ability to take a play from the playbook and TURN OFF the play action part of it.
