ok, so I just finally simmed 5 years of a franchise. I was the 49ers and what I did was add Julius peppers to the team before entering 'chise, then traded him back to CAR for their 1st to match real-life. I was just curious to how rookie contract are handled down the line. Well, in 5 off-seasons, every year my first rund pick wanted more money than his rookie contract. Now, I know this has been discussed, but i didnt know it was for EVERY year!! Rookie contract negotiations are beyond broken. This SHOULD still happen in the game, but it should be limited to ONE first rounder PER draft, if any(in Crabtree's case, a hold out)!! And it shouldnt always be the user's pick. my 2013 pick was a CB drafted 3rd overall who wanted more money than the initial offer of...(get ready)...6 yrs/$73 mil!! So I just went up and up until he would accept and STILL did not accept my final offer of 7 yrs/$100 mil!! So i couldnt afford him, he goes into FA and Dallas signs him (during the simming process so i had no chance to try to get him again) w a 90 ovr rating for 3 yrs at 340k per...

...This has been my first "back breaker" (no pun intended) for me thus far this year since Offline Franchise is my baby. It is almost unplayable now.
So to recap:
FIX ROOKIE CONTRACTS and NEGOTIATIONS!!! had no idea how bad this was...
