Just add as much of HC 09 into Madden 11 as possible. The closer Madden franchise gets to Head Coach the happier we all will be (of course this includes fixing the few buggy features from HC along the way before implementing in Madden).
Maybe someone should make a priority poll though. Take all the important featues in the OP and then have a poll for priority number 1 then take the rest and poll for priority number 2 and so on.

Sorry if some of these are already on the list-
Draft recaps -
- Team Grades
- Potential Busts
- Smart Picks
- Bad Picks
---2. Progression Overhaul -
- High potential (A) should give bigger increases to to OVR, AWR and Skill Sets
Spoiler
- Mid potential (B & C) should give bigger increases to OVR and AWR
- Low Potential (D & F) should give somewhat smaller Increases in the above categories
- Weekly Performance Index:
Spoiler
If you C Potential HB rushes for 215 yards and 3 TDs his AWR should receive a bump for the following week (therefore increasing his OVR). If his performance drops substantially during the following week, he should drop back to his original OVR.
If his performance remains higher than average throughout the season, he should receive a permanent OVR Boost for the next season. Breaking big records should also give big boosts.
--3 - Coaching/GM Logic -
- Along with player attitudes and morale, I would like to see teams specifically avoid players with poor attitudes (IE - Cleveland, New England, etc.) and teams that take big chances on players (IE - Dallas and Oakland) make these decisions.
--4 - Bargain Contracts -
Some great players will become free agents late in their careers and sign for very little money with a Super Bowl contender. If your team is a 90+ team and can use a serious upgrade at a certain position, that player should be willing to take less money in the twilight of his career if he has yet to win a Super Bowl.
--5 - True Stats
- Trips to the Super Bowl
- Trips to the Playoffs
- Trips to the Pro Bowl
- Amount of times as League Leader
- Amount of times Top 5/10 in Category
- DRAFT HISTORY
- Amount of Milestone games (100 Yard Rushing Games, and Record, etc.)

The ability to create a player while in franchise mode.
The ability to edit player ratings while in franchise mode, useful if your not happy with the progression/regression thats already in place.

Also --5 - True Stats - Trips to the Super Bowl
- Trips to the Playoffs
- Trips to the Pro Bowl

I would like the ability to create my own playbook; the contract negotiation systems needs to be revamped a little(see head coach 09), but what offline franchise mode really needs is a sort of game over element.
As it is now, you can take your franchise mode through 30 seasons; lose every last game, it doesn't matter, you can still continue your franchise for the full thirty years. That's not realistic, and it can lead to boredom, no matter how deep the mode actually is.
The possibility of being fired needs to be introduced to franchise mode. If you don't get to the playoffs in a certian number of seasons, you get fired. If you keep failing to make it deep into the playoffs, or you make deep into the playoffs, but you fail to bring home the Lombardi trophy, you may be fired.
They could also give you less control of the team when you start out, and give you more and more as you succeed or take some away if you don't; ultimatley the owner will end up firing you.
At first you'd start out as head coach ; however, the general manager would have control in who you sign, scout, trade and release( it's like this with a lot of teams). When scouting, the GM would select the positions that you can scout. When drafting players, each round the GM would determine your needs, and limit you to a group of players to pick from. In FA, the GM would limit you to a certian group of players to chose from in FA. The GM may aslo trade or cut players without asking you.
If you have more success with more of the decisions you make within the limits that the GM gives you, the limits the GM gives you will decrease. If a lot of your players are progressing or you had a good year, the GM would let you scout the players; however, in the draft the GM would still limit you to a certian group players each round to pick from. Have some more success, the GM will let now let you draft who ever you want, but will still sign, release and cut players. Have even more success, and you'll have control of everything. You're now the head coach and GM( It's like this with a lot of teams too).
If you're ultra successful, the head coach may retire; however you're franchise wouldn't end, it would just allow you to hire another head coach. If we're going for realism here, we can't have coaches coaching for 30 years.

Does anyone here think even 10% of what we are requesting in this thread will be in the game? Does the madden team even read this thread? Do they even care about us franchise junkies? Are we wasting our time? I just feel like they arent going to put in anything that we say so whats the point? Madden wont change. Not as long the head honchos of the company keep selling millions of titles making minor changes every year. They arent going to make any major changes this we know so whats the point?
I'm not trying to be negative i just feel like we are wasting our time here. We have been asking for the same crap year after year. Nothing major and game changing ever happens. Name one thing since next gen that they implemented that made you say wow this is a game changer wow this game is awesome. They do small and i mean the bare minimum every year. They have no testicular fortitude to make any changes that matter.
As long as they have the nfl license they will not make any big moves at all. We really dont have a choice but to protest and boycott outside of tiburon studios or whoever and get our voice heard. I aint taking this no more! Some people like me actually take their games seriously and have been intensely upset and frustrated for years.

I would say 10 % is realistically possible. I wouldn't bet on any more than 20 though
