Madden on PS4 Release Day, then like a month after I'll pick up NCAA 14, after looking at reviews and stuff.

Who? What? Punctuation?

Anyways....here's my thoughts.

Next gen consoles are not offering too much bang for the buck it has. Some few improvements and features but basically I can stick with my Xbox360 for now and be happy.

Due to that decision I will be purchasing Madden 25 day one on 360 and foregoing NCAA due to me not liking collegiate sports. I don't know why I can't get into them...maybe it's because I need professionalism in my sports? You can only be a professional at what you do if you get paid to do it. Don't look into it too much, just my personal opinion.

I completely agree and am glad someone else had that same thought. I am a directv subscriber who had Sunday ticket last year and loved it, but I don't want to pay over 200 bucks again this year. I have already preordered NCAA 14 and probably wouldn't get madden, but I view it as a bonus that comes with a $100 Sunday Ticket subscription. With the ultimate team packs maybe ill get more into that mode this year also.

Re: Madden 25 Purchasing Strategy

I'll wait it out! Last year after NCAA was released, a few weeks later, the price dropped to $39.99!
The same thing happened with Madden and it's price dropping to $39.99.

This was price watching on Amazon.com

So, I will wait it out......also factor in the rosters and updates/patches for game.

Plus, I still have questions that need to be answered for NCAA, Madden 25 (PS3), Madden 25 (PS4).......till then, wait

I guess I'm the only one in America whose purchase decision rests on the exclusive license situation. No matter what EA delivers, I want to see other football games again. I can't hand any money over to EA for any game until I see what the license situation will be for Madden 15 and beyond.

Too close to give in now.

Re: Madden 25 Purchasing Strategy

I will play the season ticket release and judge from there whether or not I should purchase the game. It's worked the last two years (ended up buying both 12 and 13).

IMO that license isn't going anywhere. Both parties are perfectly fine where it is. Cash money makes the world to round, might as well buy M25.
