WR Pre-catch:
Triangle - Attempt catch
Square - Dive
Circle - Switch player

Ball carrier:
Triangle - Hurdle
Square - Dive (Tap lightly for QB slide)
Circle - Spin move
X - Stiff arm

Defense:
Triangle - Jump/Catch
Square - Dive
Circle - Change player
X - Tackle/Strip ball

Those are just some key ones off the top of my head... all very common knowledge, but should be in a 'complete list of controls'.

Yeah that's why I started this thread. I didn't know the Playmaker controls posted by Slayer82186 were in the game.

Re: A complete listing of Madden controls

Okay got all of the common ones edited into the first post.

If there are any obscure ones I'm missing please post them here and I'll add them to the list.

I may just go to practice mode and try a few things to see if anything happens.

R3 on defense or while running with the ball? Does that do anything?

What about R-stick left or right on D? Wasn't that an arm tackle in past versions?

Also, isn't R-stick up while being blocked another way to raise your hands to block a pass?

Just wanna make sure we got everything.

Online Kicking XP/FG mini-game:

Hold down the button when kicking to delay the snap. If you're opponent is trying to time his jump with the stoppage of the play clock - he will jump offside.

Also, time your button press at various points of the play clock to stop it whenever you want. Early in the second to get the kick off before your opponent notices the clock stoppage, later in the second to make him notice the stoppage and draw him offside.

Hope this helps...

Re: A complete listing of Madden controls

^ Thanks, I knew about the hold button to delay kick, and have added it.

I don't quite understand the second one:
