Again, disagree about EA getting the message. We've been waiting all console generation for some things to get fixed or added that still aren't in 13. We need to keep the messages going.

And that is because we are all picky eaters, lol.

Couldn't let that one, slide.

The way our kids eat, it's a wonder they are still alive.lol

Wait, he was specifically talking about editing and co-oping, which is what I was talking about.

Disagree, again, no need to generalize when we don't know results of the efforts above.

This is all my opinion and not fact so please don't sue me if it doesn't happen like this lol.
this will be the happiest day of my life if this happens.

(okay, not really, but I think my point is made )

I just don't understand how and why people think like this. That's not how it works. Money does NOT equal quality. Being popular also doesn't equate to quality.

On the other hand in madden i can comprise an offensive line full of kickers punters and qbs and watch them dominate. Dline play is horrid and on
Kickoffs you can zig zag run for td's all day...lack of fundamentals.
Now I know why they won't let us edit players in CCM That way you can't continue to do just that.

Re: Whatever happened to enjoying games

Sorry for all the separate replies, but I just saw this thread, read through all 10+ pages and saw a few points I wanted to reply to.

I know I can be very negative at times recently, so let me take a moment and reflect on the positive.

+ Madden looks great. Visually. The art team does a fantastic job in general, even if there are mistakes here and there.

+ Madden's play books have always been far better than 2k, although I wish we had more classic plays to choose from as well. When I build a custom playbook for Madden 12 I wish I had even more to chose from. I hope we get custom playbooks back for Madden 14.

+ While I am upset with missing classic features/functions of franchise mode in the new CCM mode, Josh Looman has done a fantastic job in improving franchise. Not every Madden has had a great franchise mode, but when it does, I think it has the best in the business.

+ While I didn't really play OTP in Madden 12, it was for external reasons, not because of the game mode. I love the idea of OTP and really wish I could have gotten some of you OS users to join me on a team. I also wish EA would give receivers better controls for running routes.

+ I like the options we have available [at least in Madden 12.] About a month or so ago I started using 100 speed threshold and since April I have been using 100 fatigue [4 injury] and modified substitution settings. That alone has really improved my game play experience. Add in slider changes, and the game play is greatly improved. The flaws you can't fix with sliders still stick out like a sore thumb, but there are parts of the game that you can fix with setting changes.

I can have fun playing Madden, but I have to play with blinders on when I do... and eventually those blinders come off. Casual players don't notice or care about line play AT ALL. Not just in Madden. However, anyone who really cares about football knows that the line is where football games are really won or lost. Even with my custom sliders, the 49ers front 7 doesn't really matter that much in Madden. Madden is all about having a great QB and WR core and defensively having a fast secondary and LB core. Basically, the more football you try to apply to Madden, the more the game breaks down, the more apparent the flaws become and the less fun it is to play.

Editing and co-op are included. And Videos, demo, and EA/Tib saying what's in and what's not. We know what the efforts are for the things that were taken out or not fixed. No effort with those things. So I don't understand your "results of the efforts above" means. We can definitively see where their effort was directed.

What I meant, is, we don't know if they will be patched in or put into 14, do we?
