No. It's a stupid idea to be honest. It's going to be unfairly weighted in favor of the popular players, just like the Pro Bowl.

I don't like it, but I will say they went about it the best possible way. If RGIII won the vote for fastest QB and then was granted 99 speed or something then I would have a problem with it.

At most, it'll probably change guys attributes at most 1-2 numbers from what they would have been if there was no vote. And like it's been stated before, one roster update very well could wipe out anything voted on.

I honestly think for an offline Connected Career this will be a minor issue but for online Connected Career it could become an issue with progression on speed. I don't know If it will work that way but could lead to exploits.

No once you start a ccm the ratings you start with are locked. The only way to get up to date rosters is to start a new one with the updated roster file. Hope that helps.

Speed is easily the most expensive attribute to upgrade. You want to raise a 95 speed player to 96? Get ready to save xp for a year or 2.

I don't mean to incite anything, but remember all of those who decried the people who were mad about the loss of player editing ... Yeah, where are you now? That's what I thought. This is the reason why we should be upset about the loss of features because we cannot go back and correct/alter/modify/younameit EA's decisions as we see fit for our own personal gaming experience with the game that we plopped down sixty dollars to purchase. But I won't go further.

More relevant: No, I don't think fans should be able to vote in some silly contest of the arbitrarily picked three best players for particular ratings. Where is the sim in that?

I agree though, they should try to find marketing that also serves as realism. I'd be big on voting for what would go into the first big patch!
