Am I the only one?

I just watched that Seahawks/49ers video and it seems like it's not making a huge impact much on gameplay. Still looks much like the status quo Madden with preset animations.

Anyone have any more gameplay vids that really show a difference?

I'm just waiting to see how it feels as that's the most important thing but, it is kinda hard to tell the difference other than on certain plays.

I really think we need to play the game to see/feel the difference. It is there though.

I agree with OP. I think it's gonna take some "oh shhhh" moments during actual gameplay for all of us to be convinced that they put alot into it. Tiburon's track record of smoke and mirrors versus actual things happening is not good.

You should know you can not tell a difference by videos, wait till you play. They have already said you have to play it to feel it.

It's very much noticeable when you play the game.

you guys should stop the feel the game bs. what you see is what you get. it the same old madden, same animation with no morphing, same running, same ai. there is nothing to feel. the only reason i would be buying madden 13 is because of the roster update and online quick match and i guess that would also be the same reason why so many people would be buying the game when it comes out.

If the Infinity works, then that's good. But what I would also hope is that with the entrance of a new engine/collision, would also bring more variety in penalties. We need more pass interference, more illegal blocks, ineligible man - etc. Not just holding and false start (and the occasional face mask).

Please don't end up like FIFA did, Madden. A fantastic collision system, which could only scream high heated affairs between players = more fouls; where it actually ended up...ridiculous animations, and low CPU fouls (2 on average per 15 min match by the CPU).

Overall I'm disappointed about how much of an impact the infinity engine has. I want to be able to SEE a difference as well as feel a difference when I'm playing the game. Every year, it's "oh you have to play the game to actually feel the difference." No, I don't want to hear that...I want to be able to watch gameplay videos and feel like I'm watching an NFL game not watching Madden even if I'm not playing it.

^^^^

In the videos made by EA wth the dev showing off the new engine/improvements, you can see it's impact.

But in the actual gameplay vids, I can't really tell.
